Surp Rai is the Chief Operating Officer of Sutton Group Management Limited. In his long history with Sutton 1st West Realty, Surp has seen the organization through its tremendous growth in efficiency, opportunity, support, and status by his implementation of key strategic planning, interdepartmental collaboration, and by both defining and reforming policy and procedure.

Surp became a licensed realtor in 1991 and joined Sutton 1st West Realty in 1992, beginning with resale properties and new residential construction as well as building valuable relationships with developers. His experience expanded into land assembly, rezoning, development, and subdivision projects, and was further augmented when he acquired his own registered home builder’s license in 2006.

Prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer of Sutton Group Management, Surp previously acted as the Managing Broker for Sutton 1st West Realty. During that time, he introduced new administrative and document compliance procedures, as well as an entirely paperless systems for record keeping, deal submissions, communications, direct EFT agent commissions and direct agent transaction trust deposits.

Surp’s reliable and dedicated service as Chief Operating Officer has created new avenues for communications throughout the brokerage, including the initiation of weekly training sessions and monthly sales meetings, where he continues to impart his vast real estate sales and development knowledge and extensive industry experience to others.
