
More Canadians Plan To Buy, Sell Homes In Next Year: Survey
Last month saw a flat performance in home sales in many major Canadian markets, and experts predict this trend to continue in the fall and winter markets. A survey conducted by Dye & Durham Corporation found that 10% of Canadians plan to revisit their buying and selling plans in the next year, in comparison to only 5% of Canadians who have bought or sold a home in the past 12 months. 8% of first-time home buyers plan to purchase in the next 12 months, as opposed to 4% who have purchased in the past 12 months.
