
Greater Vancouver home sales fall 26% below 10-year average
In September 2023, the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver reported that home sales had increased 13.2% compared to the same month in the previous year, but were still 26.3% below the 10-year seasonal average. The benchmark price for detached homes was steady at north of $2 million, and the sales-to-active listings ratio for all property types was 17.7%, with a ratio of 12.6% for detached homes. New listings had increased 28.4% compared to the previous year, allowing overall inventory levels to recover.
