5 new Metrotown towers with 2,000+ homes approved in Burnaby

Burnaby city council has unanimously approved Phase 2 of the Concord Metrotown development, estimated to bring almost 2,200 new homes onto the market. The project includes five highrise towers, two of which are mixed-tenure buildings, a mixed-tenure market strata/market rental/non-market rental building, a market rental tower, and an office/hospitality tower. Amenities in the Phase 2 buildings will include fitness centres, meeting rooms, children’s play areas, wellness spas, work lounges, guest suites, kitchen spaces, and landscaped rooftops.
